f8 } Lifestyle Photography Circle

One of my goals this year was to take on a few personal photography projects. Something just for the fun of it. To push myself to be a better artist and to step back and take pictures just for the pure of joy of photography. Coincidentally my favorite photography group started a lifestyle blog circle. Several amazing artist from around the world will take on a photo theme each month and post a personal entry on their blog relating to it. July’s theme is f8. Every photo had to be shot with the same aperture f8. I had planned to use this challenge to take pictures of John & Jorja playing in the yard, but since I recently posted pictures of them playing in the sprinkler I decided to try something else. I started out looking to take some floral or still life photos around the yard. Then the baby woke up so I decide that was as good of an excuse as any to take a few pictures of Jake. I seldom use this aperture when photographing children indoors, so it was really interesting to work on this post. I hope you enjoy it!IMG 1612f8 blog challenge f8 } Lifestyle Photography CircleIMG 1617f8 blog challenge f8 } Lifestyle Photography CircleIMG 1631f8 blog challenge f8 } Lifestyle Photography CircleIMG 1643f8 blog challenge f8 } Lifestyle Photography CircleIMG 1661f8 blog challenge f8 } Lifestyle Photography CircleIMG 1665f8 blog challenge f8 } Lifestyle Photography CircleIMG 1624f8 blog challenge f8 } Lifestyle Photography CircleThis lifestyle photography circle will be a monthly feature. Please take a minute to view what the incredibly talented Atlanta wedding photographer Zachary Long did with this challenge. Then you can follow his post to see what the next artist did.
